Coriander Seeds
Coriander , also known as Chinese parsley, is an annual herb in the family Apiaceae. The stems and leaves of the plant are commonly called cilantro.
Coriander is used in cuisines worldwide, and its seeds have a lemony citrus flavor when crushed. It is described as warm, nutty, spicy, and orange-flavored. Coriander seed is a key ingredient in garam masala and Indian curries, often combined with cumin. It is also used widely in pickling vegetables.
